mov files from TVPaint are also 24 FPS) because if I recall correctly iMovie will sometimes default to 29.97 FPS. Something I thought of to watch out for with iMovie is to make sure you've got it set to export at 24 frames per second (assuming your original. IMovie will be my go to at this point but I'm definitely keeping DaVinci Resolve software on the top of the list for potential upgrade. (NOTE: in the free version of Davinci Resolve not all effects are available, but the free version is still quite useful.) You could also use the free version of Davinci Resolve to edit your scenes together. MOV files into the correct running order, I would also recommend iMovie for that purpose (and iMovie will allow you to add some simple transitional effects like fade-ins/fade-outs and cross-dissolves, and allow some simple sound editing). MOV file, and then assemble each of those. If all you need to do is separate out your scenes/clips into individual TVPaint projects (to keep the file sizes from becoming too large), and then export each scene as a. I was trying to figure out what I've been doing wrong until suddenly on a forum for animations and software someone wrote "breaking down the animation project to scenes or smaller more manageable clips" and "put them together in a video editor afterwards". This was causing significant frustration and stress as my work flow was slowing down. I've been developing multiple animation projects but in all of them I've ran into the same problem of lag or long periods of loading because I was doing lengthy projects of 2 minutes or more. What is your Wacom (or other brand) Tablet and drivers version ?.For the Professional Edition : What is the architecture (32 or 64 bit) ?.What is your software edition (Standard or Professional). What is your OS architecture (32 or 64 bit) + CPU type and amount of RAM:Ģ.5 GHz intel Core i5 16 GB Ram 1600 MHz DDR3.Please be safe during these trying times. The specs below show I'm a mac user but if anyone can suggest any video editing software that is either free or budget friendly I would appreciate that. So to finish up, and to help anyone who has faced this problem, what would the TVPaint community suggest is the best video editing software for animation projects? Upon seeing this I realized my error and slapped my hand to my face and committed 'seppuku' with my own pencil for my stupidity. The thing I want to bring up is Video Editing software and the fact I've been making a very newbie mistake in my chosen field. My name is Forrest Crocker, hope all of you are safe from the current plague that's taken the world. Because not everyone will bother to come to the website to read the FAQs. Also, maybe put the same notification on the invoice. I think what could be done is to include a printed notice on a slip of paper that is inside the install DVD packaging, which has the same text as the FAQ, emphasizing " Don't lose the dongle or you will have to pay for a new license". ( If a dongle is defective or is damaged it can be exchanged for a new dongle) If you lose the dongle you must purchase a new license because the software company has no way to know if a user is honest or dishonest, so a dishonest person could claim : "I lost my dongle, please help me, send me a new one.", but in fact they did not really lose it, so providing a new dongle is giving away the software for free, and then that person will have two licenses for the price of one. It's the same with all other software companies that sell software with a dongle. I want to know if they were correct in their assessment of not getting notified or not.Īs I understand it, that has always been the policy, it has not changed. None of them knew about it and were all pretty confused as to why they didn't get a notification about such a significant change. We have no way of differentiating unlucky people from dishonest ones. Sending another dongle means sending a new free license. It seems pretty brutal, but you must understand that your dongle is your license. You'd better look a lot harder or pay for a new TVPaint Animation license.
